Philipp Buchenauer has been with Munich Strategy since 2022. He advises mid-sized and large industrial companies, particularly in the machinery and plant engineering sector as well as in building technology. His focus is on developing robust strategies and ensuring their successful implementation. He supports his clients in strengthening their market position sustainably, evaluating strategic options and consistently capturing growth opportunities.
In his project work, he combines analytical depth with a strong understanding of industrial value chains and complex technical business models. He primarily works with internationally active companies with broad product portfolios and demanding organizational structures.
Philipp Buchenauer holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics. He has also taught microeconomics and applied game theory at the Universities of Innsbruck and Marburg. His current work is shaped by a strong interest in behavioral economics.
