Melissa Motyka is Head of Industrial Automation at Munich Strategy, where she is responsible for the further development of the Machinery & Plant Engineering business segment. She brings many years of experience leading international consulting projects across mechanical engineering and packaging. Her clients span all segments of the industry and a wide range of business models – from component manufacturers and machinery builders to plant engineers and system suppliers. She advises leading companies on strategic development, with a particular focus on growth strategies, international market expansion and the advancement of after-sales and service businesses.
Recently, Melissa Motyka has focused on the competitive advantages created by automation and new service models in the machinery sector. She supports German-speaking and international investors both in acquiring stakes in future-oriented business models and in company divestments. She regularly publishes industry studies on current topics, such as the crisis resilience of machinery business models.
